CCEA Approves ₹17,167 Crore Outer Harbour Project at VOC Port
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved the Outer Harbour development project at V.O. Chidambaranar Port in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an estimated investment of ₹17,167 crore. The project will expand container handling capacity to up to 5.2 million TEUs and deepen the port draft to 18 metres.
