CCI Approves Purchase of Three Royals Cricket Franchises by Mittal and Poonawalla
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of three T20 cricket franchises under Mauritius-based EM Sporting Holdings Limited by Westview Cricket Limited and Poonawalla Sports and Fitness Private Limited. The transaction, valued at approximately $1.65 billion, covers Rajasthan Royals, Paarl Royals, and Barbados Royals.
