Eligibility
- For LDC / JSA and DEO / DEO Grade 'A' (general): Passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For DEO / DEO Grade 'A' in specific departments: Passed 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Age limit
- 18 to 27 years as on August 1, 2026.
- SC / ST: Upper age relaxation of 5 years.
- OBC: Upper age relaxation of 3 years.
- PwBD (Unreserved): Upper age relaxation of 10 years.
- PwBD (OBC): Upper age relaxation of 13 years.
- PwBD (SC / ST): Upper age relaxation of 15 years.
Selection process
- Stage 1: Tier-I Examination (Objective Computer-Based Test)
- Stage 2: Tier-II Examination (Computer-Based Objective & Skill/Typing Test)
- Stage 3: Document Verification (conducted by User Departments / Organizations)
Exam pattern
- Tier-I: 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying a maximum of 200 marks, with a duration of 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates eligible for scribes).
- Tier-I Sections: English Language (25 questions / 50 marks), General Intelligence (25 questions / 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (25 questions / 50 marks), and General Awareness (25 questions / 50 marks).
- Tier-I Negative Marking: 0.50 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Tier-II Session-I: Section I (Mathematical Abilities & Reasoning), Section II (English Language & General Awareness), Section III (Computer Knowledge Module).
- Tier-II Session-II: Skill Test / Typing Test Module (qualifying nature).

60-day preparation plan
