  • 3 years relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates
  • 10 years relaxation for PwBD candidates
  • Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen, Widows, and Divorced Women as per Government of India norms

Exam pattern

  • Preliminary Exam: Objective test with 80 questions for 80 marks in a composite time of 45 minutes, comprising Reasoning (40 questions, 40 marks) and Numerical Ability (40 questions, 40 marks)
  • Mains Exam: Objective test with 200 questions for 200 marks in a composite time of 2 hours (120 minutes), comprising Reasoning (40 Qs, 50 marks), Computer Knowledge (40 Qs, 20 marks), General Awareness (40 Qs, 40 marks), English Language or Hindi Lan
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 (one-fourth) of the marks assigned to that question are deducted for every incorrect response in both Preliminary and Mains exams
