Padma Shri Awardee Utsav Charan Das, Pioneer of Ghoda Nacha, Passes Away
He was a legendary figure in 'Ghoda Nacha' (Chaiti Ghoda Nacha), a traditional folk dance form from Odisha involving a dummy horse.
His lifelong dedication was instrumental in preserving and popularizing this unique cultural art form at national and international levels.
The loss is seen as a significant blow to the traditional folk performing arts community of Eastern India.
