Nashik Municipal Corporation Lists Maharashtra’s First Green Bond on NSE

The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has listed Maharashtra’s first-ever Urban Local Body (ULB) Green Municipal Bond on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
The funds raised through these bonds are strictly earmarked for financing environment-friendly and sustainable urban projects.
The listing ceremony in Mumbai was attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and NSE MD Ashish Kumar Chauhan.
Green Municipal Bonds are fixed-income debt securities specifically issued to support climate-aligned infrastructure.
