SBI and MUFG Bank Japan Form Strategic Alliance for Cross-Border Financing
The State Bank of India (SBI) and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) of Japan have signed a strategic partnership to boost India-Japan financial cooperation.
The alliance seeks to combine SBI’s vast domestic network in India with MUFG’s global banking reach to support Japanese companies investing in India.
This follows previous collaborations where MUFG acted as the Lead Social Loan Coordinator for SBI’s USD 1 billion social loan in 2023.
