ADB Approves USD 42.2 Million for Bamboo Value Chain in Northeast India

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a USD 42.2 million Small Expenditure Financing Facility (SEFF) to develop the bamboo sector across six northeastern states.
The target states for this project include Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura.
This project will help shift the regional economy toward sustainable green livelihood opportunities by upgrading local bamboo processing industries.
