England all-rounder and Test captain Ben Stokes announced his retirement from Test cricket after a final match against New Zealand at Trent Bridge.
Stokes is only the second player in international Test history, alongside South Africa's Jacques Kallis, to exceed 7,000 runs and take more than 250 wickets.
