India and New Zealand Elevate Bilateral Relations, Set Rs 35,000 Crore Trade Goal by 2030
The nations have established an ambitious bilateral trade target of Rs 35,000 crore (approximately USD 4 billion) in goods and services, to be achieved by the year 2030.
As part of a landmark Free Trade Agreement (FTA), New Zealand has committed to mobilizing up to NZ$ 20 billion in private sector investments in India over the next 15 years.
The bilateral FTA, signed on April 27, 2026, is currently undergoing ratification processes to fully operationalize the economic partnership.
