PM Narendra Modi Flags Off India's First Hydrogen-Powered Train in Haryana
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated India's first-ever hydrogen-fueled train at Jind, Haryana.
This launch marks the official debut of hydrogen fuel cell-powered locomotion on India's vast broad-gauge railway infrastructure.
The clean-energy train will initially run on the Jind-Sonipat route under the Northern Railway division.
The technology and trainset were designed and manufactured domestically at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, driving the country's green transport goals.
