Mission Golden Spice Launched to Promote Meghalaya's GI-Tagged Lakadong Turmeric
Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia along with Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma unveiled 'Mission Golden Spice' in New Delhi.
The scheme operates with an allocated financial outlay of over Rs 175 crore spanning the 2025–2030 implementation period.
Managed by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), it aims to bolster the complete supply chain from farming to global exports.
