UPI Monthly Transactions Hit Unprecedented High in July 2026
Unified Payments Interface reached a historical record in July 2026 by logging 23.66 billion transactions valued at ₹29.88 lakh crore.
Month-on-month analysis indicates a 4.1% rise in transaction volume and a 3.3% increase in total processed value compared to June 2026.
On a year-over-year scale, transaction volume expanded by 22% while total value climbed by 19%.
During the month, UPI recorded an average daily volume of 763 million transactions, processing approximately ₹96,383 crore per day.
This milestone highlights UPI's dominance as the world's largest real-time payment mechanism, representing nearly half of all instant digital transactions globally.
