Prasanta Mahapatra assumed responsibilities as an Executive Director at the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
In his executive role, Mahapatra will head the Corporation Finance Investigation Department and the Recovery and Refund Department.
He brings over 27 years of regulatory experience at SEBI, having joined the market regulator in April 1999.
His past assignments include leading roles in market regulation, investigation, and serving at SEBI's Eastern Regional Office in Kolkata.
