Static GK feels endless when you study it as isolated one-line answers. A useful starting point is a compact set with clear categories and explanations. Knowing why an alternative is wrong helps prevent confusion in a differently worded question.
This is an original foundation practice set for Banking, SSC and Railway aspirants. It is not a previous-year question collection, a prediction paper or a replacement for your examination syllabus.
Use the questions as a diagnostic
Answer without looking at the explanation. Mark both wrong answers and correct guesses. For each missed fact, create a pair or a connection rather than copying only the answer. For example, separate the RBI Act year, the start of operations and nationalisation.

|---|---|

Convert mistakes into connected notes
If you confuse 1934, 1935 and 1949, create a three-point RBI timeline. If you confuse force, energy and power, make a quantity-to-unit table. If you confuse Constitution adoption and commencement, revise the distinction rather than memorising two unexplained dates.
A useful revision card has a question on the front and an answer plus one contrast on the back. Keep a claim such as 'largest' attached to its measure: largest by area is not the same as largest by population.
How to use Static GK with current affairs
When news mentions a regulator, revise its role. When a wildlife story mentions a species, distinguish that story's location and conservation context from national-symbol facts. A current event can suggest what to revise, but it does not change a stable fact unless an official change is announced.
Conclusion
Revise small groups, test recall after a gap and expand only when the earlier facts remain clear. For larger coverage, use PrepZen Static GK notes and match your choices to the official syllabus.
