EPFO Keeps EPF Interest Rate Steady at 8.25% for FY 2025-26
This marks the second consecutive year that the rate has been retained at this level, following a previous hike from 8.15% in 2022-23.
The recommendation for this rate came from the Central Board of Trustees (CBT), the highest decision-making body of the EPFO.
EPF is a crucial government-backed retirement savings vehicle for salaried employees in India, managed under the Ministry of Labour & Employment.
