J&K Bank Inks Co-Lending Pacts with Home First and IIFL Finance
The tie-up with Home First Finance Company India Ltd is dedicated to providing home loans, while the partnership with IIFL Finance focuses on gold loans.
Under the RBI’s Co-Lending Model (CLM), the NBFCs will act as the originating entities for the loans, while J&K Bank will provide the majority share of the funding.
This model allows the bank to reach underserved markets through the NBFCs' specialized network while maintaining low operational costs.
The move is part of J&K Bank's strategy to diversify its loan book and increase its presence outside its core operational territory.
