Jishnu Dev Varma has taken the oath as the 22nd Governor of Maharashtra at Darbar Hall, Mumbai.
He takes over the full-time role from Acharya Devvrat, who was previously holding the additional charge of the state.
Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay of the Bombay High Court conducted the swearing-in ceremony.
