Indian Railways Launches SHINE App for Secure Reporting of Workplace Harassment
Indian Railways has introduced the SHINE (Sexual Harassment Incident Notification for Empowerment) App to enhance the safety of its female workforce.
Launched on International Women’s Day, the app allows employees, including contractual and non-permanent staff, to report incidents confidentially.
The app is integrated with the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) and automatically forwards complaints to the relevant internal committees.
