The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Kompella Venkata (K.V.) Ramana Murty as a Whole-Time Member (WTM) of SEBI.
Before this role, Murty served as the Additional Controller General of Defence Accounts and was a part-time member of the SEBI board.
With this appointment, SEBI now has its full complement of four Whole-Time Members; the SEBI board consists of 9 members in total.
