RBI Observes 6th Digital Payments Awareness Week to Foster Safe Transaction Habits
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is commemorating the 6th edition of Digital Payments Awareness Week (DPAW) from March 9 to 13, 2026.
A pilot program titled 'Awareness Program on Digital Payments' was inaugurated in Maharashtra by Governor Sanjay Malhotra in collaboration with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited.
The 'Thoda Dhyan Se' multi-media campaign has been launched to sensitize users about alertness and caution during online transactions.
This initiative aims to reach approximately 10 lakh individuals in rural and semi-urban regions through a network of Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).
