India Post Launches '24 Speed Post' Service for D+1 Delivery in Six Metro Cities
India Post has introduced '24 Speed Post' (Phase 1), a rapid delivery service effective from March 17, 2026, targeting urgent consignments.
The service guarantees 'D+1' delivery, meaning documents and parcels (up to 5 kg) will be delivered the next day.
Phase 1 coverage includes six major metro cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
A related service, '48 Speed Post', offers 'D+2' (two-day) delivery for documents across the network.
