Cabinet Greenlights BHAVYA Scheme to Establish 100 Plug-and-Play Industrial Hubs
The primary goal is to develop 100 'Plug-and-Play' industrial parks across the country, ranging in size from 100 to 1,000 acres, to attract global manufacturing investments.
Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of up to ₹1 crore per acre for park development and cover 25% of the costs for external infrastructure like connectivity.
The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), operating under the DPIIT, has been designated as the lead implementation agency for this mega project.
For aspirants, this scheme represents a strategic shift towards ready-to-use industrial infrastructure, aiming to drastically reduce the 'time-to-market' for new manufacturing units.
