Edelweiss AMC Debuts India’s First Hybrid Passive Index Fund

Edelweiss Asset Management Company has launched the 'Edelweiss Nifty LargeMidcap250 Plus 8–13 yr G-sec 70:30 Index Fund', marking India's entry into hybrid passive investing.
The fund follows a fixed asset allocation strategy: 70% in equities (tracking Nifty LargeMidcap250) and 30% in Government Securities (G-Secs).
The New Fund Offer (NFO) is scheduled to run from 18 March to 1 April 2026, targeting investors looking for balanced equity-debt exposure through a low-cost passive route.
Managed by equity experts Bhavesh Jain and Bharat Lahoti, along with debt managers Dhawal Dalal and Hetul Raval, it aims for structured long-term wealth creation.
