CJI Unveils 'One Case One Data' and AI Chatbot 'Su Sahay' for Judiciary
Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant has launched the 'One Case One Data' initiative to create a unified digital record for every legal case across the Indian judicial system.
The system links High Courts, District, and Taluka Courts, providing each case with a single digital ID for continuous tracking of orders and judgments.
The CJI also introduced 'Su Sahay', an AI-powered judicial assistance chatbot developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) in collaboration with the Supreme Court Registry.
These tools are designed to eliminate data silos, reduce administrative delays, and provide instant information to litigants and lawyers through the Supreme Court website.
Exam Perspective: The use of AI and unified data architecture marks a significant step towards 'Justice 2.0', focusing on transparency and real-time judicial management.
