As of 2026, drone surveys have covered 70,000 square kilometers across India, with property card issuance rising from 7,440 villages in FY21 to 1.89 lakh villages.
The central government has extended funding of ₹472 crore for the scheme until September 30, 2026, aiming to issue 4 crore property cards by then.
