Tripura Becomes the First Indian State to Achieve Complete Deregulation Phase I & II Reforms
The deregulation initiative was rolled out in two phases: Phase-I in February 2025 (covering 23 priority areas) and Phase-II in January 2026 (covering 28 priority areas).
The initiative targets critical governance sectors including Revenue, Urban Development, Industries, Labour, Environment, and Digital Governance.
This landmark achievement establishes a blueprint for regulatory simplification, aiming to significantly reduce bureaucratic red tape and improve the ease of doing business.
