Saudi Arabia Joins India-Led International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) as 26th Member Country
The IBCA is an ambitious India-led global initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2023 with the goal of conserving the world's most endangered big cats.
The alliance focuses its conservation efforts on seven major big cat species: tiger, lion, leopard, snow leopard, cheetah, jaguar, and puma.
In addition to the 26 member countries, the alliance currently boasts five observer nations committed to technical and monetary cooperation.
