DPIIT Announces Guidelines for BHAVYA Scheme to Set Up 100 High-Tech Industrial Parks

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) issued operational norms for the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA) scheme.
Classified as a Central Sector Scheme, it holds a total financial outlay of Rs 33,660 crore to develop 100 world-class industrial parks between FY27 and FY32.
Minimum land specifications require 100 acres for non-hilly states and 25 acres for hilly/northeastern states and Union Territories.
Development will be governed via Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) under the Companies Act 2013, with National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) as the project management agency.
