IRDAI Approves Prudential HCL Health Insurance as Standalone Health Insurer
Prudential HCL is a joint venture between the UK's Prudential Group and India's HCL Group.
With this approval, the number of standalone health insurance firms operating in India rises to eight.
This marks the third health insurance registration granted by IRDAI in 2026, following Allianz Jio Reinsurance and Kiwi General Insurance.
