Indonesia Partners with India to Acquire BrahMos and Astra Missiles

India and Indonesia have signed historic agreements for Indonesia to procure BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles and Astra Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missiles (BVRAAM).
Under this pact, Indonesia becomes the third international customer of the BrahMos missile, following the Philippines and Vietnam.
Additionally, Indonesia is the first foreign nation to purchase India's indigenous Astra BVRAAM, with the contract signed between Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Republikorp.
The landmark agreements were finalized during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official diplomatic visit to Indonesia.
