PrepZen analysis

Senior bureaucratic appointments and tenure extensions are regular components of the General Awareness and Current Affairs syllabi across SSC CGL, Banking (IBPS, SBI, RBI), and State PSC exams. Questions often focus on the name of the official, the ministry involved, their administrative cadre, or their predecessor.

For UPSC Civil Services and State Public Service Commission aspirants, this item links directly to GS Paper II (Governance and Civil Services in a Democracy).
