RBI Unveils 'Awareness Program on Digital Payments' During DPAW 2026
The Reserve Bank of India is observing Digital Payments Awareness Week (DPAW) from March 9 to 13, 2026.
As part of the week, Governor Sanjay Malhotra launched a pilot project titled 'Awareness Program on Digital Payments'.
The pilot is being executed in Maharashtra in collaboration with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited.
A multimedia campaign themed 'Thoda Dhyan Se' (Be Careful) has been introduced to educate users on secure digital transactions.
