RBI Fixes Centre's Ways and Means Advances Cap at ₹50,000 Crore for H2 FY27
The Reserve Bank of India, in consultation with the central government, has fixed the Ways and Means Advances limit at ₹50,000 crore for the second half of FY 2026–27. The arrangement addresses temporary cash flow mismatches from October 2026 to March 2027, with fresh market borrowings triggered when 75 percent of the limit is utilized.
